A renewable energy company was seeking approval for a proposed 175-megawatt, almost $200 million utility-scale solar project in the State of Ohio. Silverlode was engaged to estimate the economic and fiscal impacts of the project to present the positive impacts to local and state governments. Silverlode estimated the economic and fiscal impacts of the project’s construction activity and ongoing operations in Ohio and the county in which the proposed project would be located. The economic impact analysis was submitted to the Ohio Power Siting Board as part of the project’s application for approval.
